πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§ Parent–Child Identity & Linking

A parent can view only the child selected above. Linking requires Parent OTP verification, the student's authenticated approval, and a verified parent–student relationship.

1. Parent Verification

Verify the registered parent mobile using OTP. Retrieve identity details only through an authorised, consent-based identity verification service.

OTP step
2. Student Confirmation

The student sees the parent request in their own account and must approve it after authenticating.

Student approval
3. Smart Matching

Normalise spelling, spacing, initials and address formatting. Minor textual differences should not automatically cause rejection.

Human review on material mismatch

Step 1 β€’ Child's registered BJNF account

Parent sends a link request. The child receives the in-app challenge in their own account, enters it there and approves the request.

Waiting to start

Step 2 β€’ Parent's registered mobile

Only after the child OTP and child approval, send a second secure in-app code to this parent's verified BJNF account.

Locked until Step 1 is complete
Preview only: no real OTP is sent. Both registered accounts must be independently verified; relationship checks and backend approval are still required.

πŸͺͺ Identity Details (Non-sensitive Display)

After approved identity verification, permitted profile fields can be populated automatically. Aadhaar number itself must never be displayed or stored as an ordinary profile field.

Profile Details

Verified name, date of birth (where needed), gender (only if required), address, district, state and PIN code.

Privacy Controls

Consent receipt, masked reference/token, data source, verification date, correction and revocation history.

Child-specific Access

Study, attendance, assignments, course reports and exam reports are scoped only to the selected linked child.

πŸ” Parent Access & Child Privacy

Only a verified parent or authorised guardian linked to the child should see these reports. The child and guardian should be able to understand what is shared. Access must be revocable, logged and limited to the linked child. Sensitive teacher notes should be shared only according to school policy and age-appropriate safeguards.

Design preview only. The figures and learner names shown here are sample data, not real student records. Live reports require verified parent-child linking, role permissions, backend data and school-approved reporting rules.
